Celeste Night is a new author to me and she definitely did not disappoint with this book. I have so many thoughts after reading this book and had to step away prior to writing my review. Being this is book 1 in the series, I have so many questions and barely got any answers. The only answers I got was the backstory of Cam, Niko & Trey. Out of the four guys, Cam and Niko are my favorites (Cam takes the lead though). With Trey, I am still figuring him out. Caleb is a 50/50 for me throughout the story. Ivy – I am 50/50 with her as well but I also have so many questions about her and looking forward to her character development in the next book. There are two ‘couples’ that I ship more and would be interesting to see if they develop or not. The s3xu@l tension between the characters are! On the flip side, there are few characters that I do not like at all! This book ends in a cliffhanger and I was not prepared for that!!!!
Brief Summary of the Book
And oh my gosh was it intense. She’s a high school senior and she’s living a privileged life when her father is arrested, her family losing everything. She doesn’t have anywhere to go, and she tries to build a new life in a small college town. She meets the college guys who are apart of a gang called The Forsaken, after a *fun* encounter, things turn again. The guys found out who she really is, and want to get her to leave. Since these three rule the school, they get everyone to turn against Ivy. Even though the guys want her to leave, it doesn’t mean some part of their alpha male brains don’t want her still. Which leads to some very interesting scenes.
