The author’s treatment of Benny’s grief over his wife’s death was handled very well and set the stage for his second chance at happiness. This sweet MM second chance sports romance will make you smile, get into your feels just a little, and delivers action both in and out of the bedroom that sets the perfect pace to keep the story going. Benny needs a second chance in life. Spiraling after the sudden death of his wife, he loses his way down the bottle and alcohol puts a strain on all aspects of his life. His teammates stage an intervention and help him turn his life around. Fresh out of rehab, struggling and with a new injury, Benny is offered a lifeline.
