I read The Belonging Duet earlier this year and was hooked on Corinne Michael’s writing and after meeting Natalie and Aaron in those books and learning of Aaron’s fate, I couldn’t wait to read this duet because I knew it would be an emotional ride! And I was right, there are so many highs and lows as Natalie tries to cope with losing Aaron, being a new mom and trying to decide if she can open her heart again and let Liam in. The pain Natalie was going through was depicted so vividly, I could feel it. Which made it that much sweeter when we see her coming back to herself through Liam’s influence. There were also several twists and turns that I never saw coming and I think I am still picking my jaw up from the floor after that cliffhanger ending!

Brief Summary of the Book

The emotions are shoved down deep, but I can see in his best friend’s eyes how much pain he’s in. Liam flew in from California to be here. He was Aaron’s closest friend for the last eight years. They graduated SEAL training together.
