These ladies never let me down. This was a quick and steamy, one sitting read that checks all the boxes. I found this highly entertaining and hilarious… while also bringing all the spice. Pushing Xavier’s buttons is Nico’s new favorite thing to do… and push his buttons he does. Xavier is so grumpy and grumbly and he would get so flustered with Nico… that is until he was flustered in a whole different way. Xavier doesn’t realize how lonely he actually is, and Nico is about to change his world. The banter and back and forth between these two was definitely a high point in this short novella. I loved that the dynamic here was not what you would originally expect. I’m sorry.. daddy who?! I devoured this. While I didn’t feel like I was missing anything and this story rounded out with a very satisfying, swoonworthy ending… Gah I just wish this was longer. I really enjoyed these two and I need sooo much more!!

Brief Summary of the Book

Nico is centuries old and bored out of his mind. His boredom has lead to his multiple educations from all over the world. The last of which has recently lead him to a college class that’s nothing he expects it to be.. from the content being taught or the grumpy professor. For the first time in a very long time, Nico has found something.. ehh well, someone to entertain himself with. Xavier is a single, 53 year old grumpy, horology professor… and has heard every running joke about ‘what’ he teaches more times then he can count. Nico, the newest addition to his class isn’t spouting off anything new, but there’s something about Nico that’s different and just gets under his skin more than anyone else ever has… but when he starts fantasizing about Nico in rather precarious positions… over his desk… on his knees.. etc.. he wonders if he’s finally lost it.
