What I liked most about this book was the sense of location that played its own role in the story. A rainy coastal city of in Washington state with all of the characters houses on the registry list so they could only be leased. That alone was so interesting made me keep reading. There’s one teenage girl who so unabashed a narcissist, that I found her character the most interesting by far. There’s a pair of teenage girls who share more than just their identical looks, and of course a ‘suicide or murder’ of their friend. There’s the story of a school bus going off a bridge when the twins were only five and the only survivors.
In other words, there are a lot of interesting threads going through the story that made it both suspenseful and made the characters interesting. I enjoyed the book.
