The final puzzle is not assembled, but enough of it shows up to convince everyone it is not just real, it is somehow more real than reality itself.You have to be a very, very narrow subset of people who use the term “pranked” to really go with the flow. I admit that I am not among the prank users, and felt relying on it got in the way of storytelling, but then, the story was “find a part and see if it fits” construction of a jigsaw puzzle.It is good. That is all– good– and it was a quick read.The memory issue was too flipitantly handled for my taste, but then, I have seen a man return from combat and try to figure out how he has kids and how that woman can put up with him, so I might be overly sensitive in that aspect of the story.
