Brief Summary The Unseelie Prince by Kathryn Ann Kingsley

This is one of the best written books I have come across in a long time. I loved the way the story was woven and the beautiful way the author portrayed the Fae with it. This story is gory, Valroy is not a good anything and the Fae have their own motivations. If you can handle the blood and gore as well as the other concerning material in this tale, I think that the book is great. I enjoyed the, well it can’t be called a love story so I suppose the tale of desire, between Abigail and Valroy. Abigail is largely hopeless in this situation and she knows it. She is strong in that she is a survivor, but she knows she is no match for the Fae around her. Valroy cannot be described as a “morally gray antihero” he is a villain through and through. He is brutal, sadistic and not apologetic about any of it. This is not a story of redemption, it is a story of fighting desire. Fighting even when you know you are outmatched and it would be better for you to give in, but you cannot. Surrendering may be what would be best for you, but what is the cost?
