Wild and Wicked Things was a fantasy, dark, sapphic novel that I very much enjoyed. Annie visits Crow Island after her father’s death. He doesn’t know him, she barely remembers him since he up and left when she was little, never understanding why he left and disappeared. Upon visiting this island, she discovers herself, parts of her she did not know exist. She also sees her bestie Bea again, who also left for Crow Island a year before, also without explanations. It was fun to discover Crow Island and Annie’s witchy side along with her. I enjoyed the gothic ambiance and the dark witchery. The evil characters. The many storylines. The Delacroix family was super interesting to meet, and their secrets were exciting to discover. My favorite part was Isobel, one Cilla Delacroix’s adopted children. I loved her realness and most authentic reactions. She was unfortunately just a secondary character.
