this book to the Hunger games and the selection, both those books had romance , where as this first book does not. There is a lot of details explaining every situation which some of it was very good. I almost wonder with all this slow going details if the author plans on making this series have several books. I am still hoping for a romance but I’m into almost half of the second book with nothing. With all that being said, I will continue reading because with or without romance it’s a good read and I’m curious to find out what happens.
