There is no other author like RL Mathewson, she has a unique style which never fails to draw me in and make me fall in love with her characters.Her heroines are never the prom Queen type, but the ones usually overlooked. In The Project Andi is often seen in Disney pjs and comfy slippers, even going as far as going to the office dressed this way, which just makes her even more endearing. Another thing RL does that I adore, is adding in a glimpse into the past. We first meet a school aged Andi and learn that her brain is as big as her heart.Devyn is a fantastic example of a typical RL hero, hot with a capital H, women throwing themselves at him, but he’s not interested, he’s a grumpy workaholic that is singleminded on his goal of achieving his dream job, until Andi steps into his organised, boring world and upends it, making him take notice and follow her crazy plans even when his world is falling down around him.
