“The Final Strife ” is a good book that you can read online or download to read it later. Before starting the reading or downloading, here is the summary of the book that you can read. Red is the blood of the elite, of magic, of control. Blue is the blood of the poor, of workers, of the resistance. Clear is the blood of the slaves, of the crushed, of the invisible. Brief Summary The Final Strife by Saara El-Arifi

This book has its roots based in African and Arabian mythology, and the story is very interesting. There are a lot of moving parts here, so it’s a bit difficult to give a clear synopsis. Anoor is part of the ruling class who wield magic (by drawing sigils with their red blood). Hassa is a slave with clear blood (trigger for bodily mutilation, as all slaves have their tongues and hands cut off at birth). Sylah is in the poor class with blue blood; they have slightly more rights than a slave, but not many. She is also a long-term drug addict, then in a difficult recovery. I have to admit that Sylah is my least favorite character by far, as she struck me as very selfish and a poor friend. She only takes, and rarely gives. I do wish that there had been about 100 pages cut from the book, because the second half drags quite a bit and has a lot of repetition. But overall I did quite enjoy my read and I’m curious to see where the rest of the series goes.
