Quinn was rejected by her fated mate, the Beta, because he was in love with someone else. Quinn can’t turn off the mate connection even though she wants to. She spends more and more time alone as the pack still considers her the Beta’s mate, which makes her very depressed.Chase is a lone wolf. Over time lone wolves become feral if they don’t have a pack. He smells Quinn’s scent and knows that she is his. Chase kidnaps her and chains her to a room. Quinn knows that this his way of courting her so she has to decide what she wants out of life. The problem is that the pack is all she knows.This is a good book about two people who fall in love rather than accepting the mate that fate has given them.Quinn is a good character who does eventually decide what she wants and takes a leap.
