As these two masterminds circle each other, neither is paying attention to the third player on the board, Kihrin. The Chorus of Dragons series is one of my absolute fav series and deserves a lot more attention in my opinion. If you enjoy epic fantasy with a good mix of action and romance, polyamorous relationship and fantastic LGBTQ rep this is a great series for you.
When it was time to pick up Discord of the Gods, I have to admit I was worried about how Jenn Lyons would be able to wrap up all the different storylines. However, I was blown away by how well the ending turned out. It was so classic Kihrin and at the same time showed how much he has grown over the course of the story. I also found it helpful that the events of the entire series were summarized at the beginning of the story so that the reader was up to speed as it can be hard to keep track of everything if you are not reading the books back to back.
