The bad part is that the Memphis character spent half the book stuck in a loop until the last chapter where we find out why he is the way he is. His whole being is basic and shortsighted. Oswald is a great little brother character, but honestly, they could have just been combined. I’d like to see more of Bates because his character has a bit of mystery and his development was cIearer than the brothers.If you like controlling semi hot dousche-canoes, damsels in distress who are just naive a bit but secretly have a fire in them, and a CLIFF HANGER to end all Cliffs, then this one is for you… now on to the next one because no matter what, now I need to know what happens.
