I have been a fan of Lisa’s show, Women of Impact, for awhile. I love how much of her personality shows up on every page of this book and with every story we see more layers of the woman who steps into the role of co-founder and president of Impact Theory. Seeing how “normal” she was in the her struggles, her inner critic, the doubts and fears shines a light on what we are all capable of achieving. The other thing that most sticks out to me reading this book is that as much as this book is about saving yourself, being your own badass, finding your voice, and pursuing what you dream of, it is also about thriving in your life throughout the journey. After reading this, I felt reassured that the negative inner critic is going to be part of the journey. All of the doubts I feel now will remain throughout the journey, although what I doubt may change, it’s apart of growth.
