Brief Summary Pharaoh by Wilbur Smith

I love Wilbur Smith’s novels. I have read almost all of them and love it when he creates another. This particular book in the ancient Egypt series has one of my favorite characters he created in it, Taita, who appears in several of his novels. I especially enjoyed Smith’s historical fiction novels about Africa, how the first European settlements started and the first contact with the African inhabitants. Novel after novel go from the 1500s all the way to modern times, each novel devoted to an especially interesting time period. Wilbur Smith’s ability to capture exciting action in mere words on paper is one of the best around, I think. The history of Africa is so interesting and so not what I learned elsewhere. If you like reading about what really happened, get a Wilbur Smith book.
