If you’ve read the first two books (which I thoroughly enjoyed) you might not be surprised that the Earth still needs saving! But this time Chaney and Hopper give us an incredibly action-packed tour of downtown Manhattan as Wic and team try to foil the plans of a ruthless team of Anderkin killers. The Phantoms are awesome, Chuck is a riot, it’s a rock ’em sock roller coaster filled with the cleverness that I really enjoy and, since this was released on St. Valentine’s Day….there might even be some love in the air. We do face some loss…there is some heroic sadness.
