Brief Summary Lucifer’s Bride by Roxie Ray

If you’ve ever seen the TV show Lucifer you will realize the first chapter is nothing but a rip off. I swear it took everything in me to continue reading because the rip-off was horrible. Right down to the British accent. The more I read the more it seemed like a collection of any story you’ve ever heard, book movie, TV show, poems, whatever you have heard about Lucifer was collectively written into this book. Now since I’m a fan of the devil and classics of course I enjoyed it. However others might find it a cheesy rip off. The main character Evie is a bit annoying the first couple of chapters. She grew on me I guess the more she grew to love Lucifer. I like the plot the story is leading towards. And while it sticks to tradition as far as the devil and his one true love it also eludes to sinister twist at the behest of heaven’s angels. All in all, it flows very well. Had very few grammatical errors. And ended on a wonderful cliffhanger. And it left me wanting more not only for the main characters but the other characters that were introduced. It lost a star for a lack of originality and the initial rip off of other shows.
