While this can be read as a standalone I definitely recommend you read Jake and Jamies trilogy first to get even more background of this world and its amazing characters. I usually don’t read poly too often because I can’t help but always have a favorite. And yes I had a favorite here at first as well, but I also couldn’t help but fall in love with others as the story went on. The author’s writing just make it impossible not to fall for all her characters. They are messy and toxic, but they are also raw and real and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m just so invested in this whole world! The story had me hooked from the prologue and I was constantly at the edge of my seat, dying to find out what will happen next. And of course my mind is spinning from all the different theories after that dreaded cliffhanger. I
