Brief Summary Head Like A Hole by Andrew Van Wey

I have been hooked on Andrew Van Wey since I first read his stand alone novel, “Forsaken.” That was one of my favorite novels of horror. I still believe it to be his best. But I so much enjoyed reading this book. I would have read it in a day except for the fact that I am not a fast reader, and wanted the enjoyment to last for some time. If you’ve read the other reviews, you know the basic plot of the story. Megan Collings is telling the story of Oksana Samarina, her prep school roommate, to an unlikeable podcaster who thinks he has one up on her. Megan’s story begins with a fisherman who checks his crab traps, only to find that one of them has what looks like a human head under the crabs. As he stares in disbelief at this unthinkable thing, the eye on the head opens! The story is full of creepy events, believable characters and true horror. The ending will throw you for a loop. Mr. Van Wey is really a master at the written word. I have enjoyed everything he has written. After starting out with horror in “Forsaken” he moved to some fantasy works and then the Clearwater Conspiracies trio of books which wanders more into techno-thriller.
