Viper is an older , grumpy man who doesn’t talk much. Sutton has no filter when she opens her mouth. I love everything that she says. Viper has his hands full with this spitfire. Sutton finds herself needing protection and Viper’s MC steps up. As they spend more time with each other, Viper and Sutton start to open up. They rely on each other and love starts to grow. Everyone notices the change in Viper. Emma Slate’s writing is so powerful on how life is for the brothers and their Old Lady’s in an MC. We feel the extreme emotions these women have when their men have to fight to protect them. The storyline is nail biting and the writing is superb. I can’t wait for the next one!!!

Brief Summary of the Book

The book starts off immediately meeting Sutton and introducing the newest conflict the Tarnished Angels will have to face off with the Cartel. With Sutton’s involvement, the Tarnished Angels immediately take her in with open arms, where she’s placed under the watchful eye of Viper for protection. During her lockdown at the clubhouse, Sutton and Viper become closer and closer (including plenty of steamy scenes, which Emma does so well) despite their attempts to fight the attachment. They both try hard to keep things casual and not reveal their feelings, yet they seem to be the only ones who don’t see what’s actually happening between them. Venom and Vengeance continues down the Tarnished Angels path towards collision with the cartel, and the book is heavy with the results of the next steps in that fight. With plenty of action and involvement with other Tarnished Angels and their old ladies, this is not a book that can be read on its own but must be read as part of the series. We reunite with primary characters from past books, as well as getting more time and introductions to new characters for the future. The book moves quickly, jumping straight into the deep end right away and never letting up.
